Neonatal Rescicitation Program
Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate knowledge of the physiological changes that occur before during and after birth.
- Identify at risk neonates that require resuscitation.
- Set up the equipment required for performing resuscitation.
- Work collaboratively as a high performance team member.
- Provide resuscitation following the initial steps.
- Provide effective positive pressure ventilation.
- Perform basic and advanced airway management correctly.
- Perform proper technique of chest compressions.
- Identify when, where, and how to give medications during resuscitation.
- Organize post resuscitation care
- Prepare for safe and effective preterm delivery.
