Neonatal Rescicitation Program

Learning Objectives

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the physiological changes that occur before during and after birth.
  • Identify at risk neonates that require resuscitation.
  • Set up the equipment required for performing resuscitation.
  • Work collaboratively as a high performance team member.
  • Provide resuscitation following the initial steps.
  • Provide effective positive pressure ventilation.
  • Perform basic and advanced airway management correctly.
  • Perform proper technique of chest compressions.
  • Identify when, where, and how to give medications during resuscitation.
  • Organize post resuscitation care
  • Prepare for safe and effective preterm delivery.
