SHA PALS Instructor Course Details

 

Target audience & Pre-course requirement
Valid SHA PALS provider card & recommendation letter
Couse Description:
One full day instructor led course designed to prepare future instructor candidates to teach PALS provider classroom course in accordance with SHA guidelines.
Course Objectives 
As a faculty; you have to make sure that the instructor candidates meet all the learning objectives that are listed at the beginning of each lesson in the instructor manual.
At the end of the instructor course, instructor candidate will be able to: 
■ Be familiar with SHA mission, vision, values, policy and procedures 
■ Be familiar with PALS course paperwork, equipment’s, practice and testing checklists.
■ Play a role of instructor when conducting skill station, simulation based practice and testing scenario.
■ Demonstrate different types of feedback, remediation and debriefing
