SHA BLS Course Details

Saudi Heart Association BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who be able to
recognize life-threatening emergencies, need to know how to perform CPR; give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations ,Using AED , Relief victims from chocking using Heimlich maneuver and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings.

What would you have learn?

  • Candidates will work on to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing and will be able to:
  •  Perform High-quality CPR on adults, children and infants in either a pre-hospital or hospital track
  •  Train on using an AED
  •  Perform effective ventilations using a barrier devices
  •  Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adult, children and infant
  •  Know the SHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components and the important High-quality CPR and early use of an AED
  •  Know the importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR

It was a very good course. The instructor was super clear and she explained everything slowly and clear. There were two problems. The first one is the air condition did not work and the sencond one is the space of the classroom was too small.
