First Eight Program

The First Eight Program is a national initiative launched by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, aimed at empowering community members with essential life-saving first aid skills. The program focuses on effective intervention during the critical first eight minutes of an emergency—recognized as the most decisive period before emergency medical services arrive.

Program Content

  • Theoretical and practical training in basic first aid skills
  • Management of critical conditions such as cardiac arrest, choking, bleeding, and sudden injuries
  • Hands-on simulations based on real-life emergency scenarios to improve response efficiency

Learning Outcomes

  • Participants will receive a First Eight Certificate accredited by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority upon successful completion of the program.
